IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GLOBE

K-pop shows have dominated the concert scene in our country for years. And since Filipinos are known for being music lovers and quite infamous for using the internet and social media, it’s only right that Globe formed K-mmunity PH to bring K-pop fans together. What better way to debut this than at TWICELIGHTS in Manila?

This is the first Philippine concert of TWICE, undoubtedly one of the biggest third gen girl groups in Korea. The nine-member girl group successfully mounted a sold-out series of Japan Dome Tours for the first quarter of the year and is currently on their third world tour, finally including Manila last June 29th. This is much to the delight of Filipino ONCEs (their fandom) who have patiently waited for three years.

A sea of Candy Bong Z lightsticks

In support of TWICE’s first Philippine concert, Globe held the first-ever edition of The Ultimate Stan Search, a hunt for the best ONCEs with the ultimate concert experience up for grabs. All they had to do was do fan chants—as a group or individually—to TWICE’s “What is Love?” in the most creative way possible.

One group and eight individuals were lucky enough to snag VIP tickets to the concert, a meet & greet and photo op with TWICE, premium merchandise, goodies from Globe, and an exclusive tour to the K-mmunity PH Studios before gates opened!

So, what do you do to prepare for a TWICE show? This is what Pinoy ONCEs set out to do on concert day:

Get their hands on official merchandise

As they entered the arena, concertgoers were greeted with the K-mmunity PH Store. Exclusive TWICE merch was in store for fans who subscribed to their favorite Globe Prepaid promos. These included hoodies, shirts, stickers, lollipops, and of course the Candy Bong Z lightsticks.

Strike a pose with their idols

No meet and greet? No problem! There was the K-mmunity PH Idol Studio where fans could take photos with life-size standees of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

Enjoy some quick cardio

In the K-mmunity PH Dance Studio, fans bust a move as they followed TWICE’s most popular choreographies. Some of the moves could easily give Hirai Momo a run for her money.

Do some DIY on their TWICE merch

Adding all the glitters and stickers

Fans also got creative at the K-mmunity PH Record Studio where they designed their own banners, lightsticks, and other merch using the provided arts and crafts materials. They were able to add their own personality to their fan kit.

Practice the fan chants and songs

Stans singing their heart out!

The K-mmunity PH Chant Studio was the popular choice among fans since it was like singing along to your favorite TWICE song in a karaoke setup. Perfect for those who needed to warm up before the show!

When TWICE finally set foot on the concert stage, everyone was more than ready to “Dance the Night Away”. With the whole crowd singing along to their top hits like “Stuck in My Head,” “Cheer Up,” “YES or YES,” and more, the TWICE girls were blown away by how loud everyone was singing along. The three-hour show was indeed worth the three-year wait.

We can feel the excitement from here. Yas!

Though the concert was only for a night, K-Pop fans can expect more exciting events and exclusive promos from K-mmunity PH. Be sure to join the group on Facebook at  as 2019 will surely be a ride for K-pop fans as more artists will be brought here. Take note that members will get first dibs on promos, perks, and maybe even concert tickets in the future. Stay tuned!
