We finally meet the new judges who will be joining Regine Velasquez for this year’s biggest singing competition, Search for the Idol Philippines, and we’re quite excited for the diverse mix.

ABS-CBN announced that singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre will join the roster. The young musician is excited and promised that she would, “do their best in finding the next Idol Philippines.” This should be interesting given her background. Back in 2013, she joined The Voice of the Philippines. She’ll be able to give advice and feedback knowing that she’s been through the same process in the past—but the question is, will she be sweet or will she be cut-throat about it?

Next up is no other than James Reid. He shared that he will be “looking for the next person to sign [under his] music label Careless Music Manila” by the end of the year, one (or two or three) will be lucky enough to collaborate with James and even Nadine Lustre.

Finally, we have Vice Ganda who we all know will give the most honest feedback as seen on Showtime. We gotta admit that we’ll be looking forward to the looks she’ll be serving just as much as her comments.

Will you be following the show? Better yet, are you planning to join the competition?
