First Kelsey Merritt, and now Catriona Gray. Vogue is definitely taking notice of Filipina beauties (finally!) and we are here for it. We all know Cat is multi-talented. She even did her own hair and makeup during the Miss Universe pageant. For their “Beauty Secrets” video on YouTube, Cat shared how she achieved that glam look—the exact same one she wore during her coronation last December.
Who would have thought that million-dollar look was so achievable? In the video, she shared that most of the products she used were by brands more or less familiar to all of us, like Fenty, Nars, and Maybelline. But her absolute favorite product? Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade Bronze Bell, which she revealed she used in both her Miss Philippines and Miss Universe looks. She applied that on top of her bronze eyeshadow from Juvia’s Place to add the perfect shimmer to her look, something she can’t get enough of. (“My favorite part aside from shimmer, is more shimmer. Obviously.”)
She also revealed other beauty secrets in the video like using an eye cream with a green tint in places she gets dry and red, how she uses eyebrow palette to contour her nose, and how she deals with the “love-hate relationship” she’s got going on with her brows.
Excited to look like a Miss Universe too? Watch the video below for Cat’s full tutorial.
