What if you were the only one who knew The Beatles?

Imagine living in a world that didn’t know The Beatles existed and you’re the only one who did. You then set off to become a worldwide sensation for singing their greatest hits like “Yesterday” and “Let It Be.” The plus side is you’ll be working and performing with Ed Sheeran; downside is he’ll ask you to change “Hey, Jude” to “Hey, Dude.”

You think you can’t do that? Don’t worry, there’s a film about it titled Yesterday where a guy named Jack is living in that world so you don’t have to.

The film is directed by Danny Boyle and stars newcomer Himesh Patel as Jack; alongside him are Lily James and Kate McKinnon. The trailer shows the protagonist trying to convince the people around him that The Beatles are real. But as it progresses, he ends up being the face of all these great songs.

Yesterday will premiere on June 28, 2019. Are you as intrigued as we are?
