Here’s something to make you think: the Twilight movie is now officially 10 years old! It seems only yesterday when the franchise took over the world, and proved that there are only two kinds of people in the world: Those who are #TeamEdward, and #TeamJacob. Now, if you’re all for the vampire hero, you might want to change sides now. Taylor Lautner, who plays the teen werewolf vying for Bella’s attention, certainly makes a case. On Instagram, he paid tribute to the character that effectively catapulted him into heartthrob status by posting a photo of him in the first movie wherein he sported that (unfortunate) long hair with the middle part. He also tagged “Forks, Washington,” the fictional setting of the story, as the location. Beside him in the post, was a photo of Kendall Jenner in a similar hairstyle in an expectation vs. reality meme.
“It’s been 10 years exactly since [Twilight] was released in theaters,” he wrote. “I thought I should take this moment to thank every single fan who has supported the franchise over the last decade but also to thank Kendall Jenner for being my hair inspo back in ’07. Thank you fans. And thank you Kendall.”

It all makes sense now.
