We’re always trying our best to support local in every way we can. There are so many brands out there in different categories that it can be hard to keep track. From fashion to furniture, there’s one place where you can catch all that.

If you’re not familiar with Manila FAME, here’s the lowdown. It is a design and lifestyle event that supports local companies by giving them a platform to showcase their products to their country and to international buyers as well. Last week, I got a glimpse of some of the items that will be up for grabs and they’re definitely worth checking out. This was presented by Department of Trade and Industry through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (DTI-CITEM). Their executive director Pauline Suaco-Juan said the event is, “a premiere sourcing destination for furniture, home and holiday decor, fashion, health and wellness, and food as gift sectors.” Yup, definitely perfect for the holiday season.

So, what can you expect to see? Jewelry from Tim Tam Ong. I have a pair of earrings from her that I love right now.

Now that you’re convinced, head over to Manila FAME, which will be held from Oct. 19 to 21 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City
