Both Nadine Lustre and Kiana Valenciano have been very vocal about mental health. They have talked about depression and anxiety in the past to draw attention to the importance of taking care of oneself. Nadine took it to another level with Lustrous’ newest collection campaign.

It was first revealed on Instagram, “In honor of World Mental Health Day, Lustrous, supported by BYS is proud to unveil #IAmLustrousHearHerStory—an intimate and deeply personal collection of stories from 13 advocates all shedding light on realities of mental health and depression.”

The first person to share their story was Nadine herself. She said that, for her, there is no trigger. She also shared how she didn’t want to open up to her friends at first because they might think she was just being dramatic.

Next up was Kiana. She got very personal and let all of her emotions show on camera. Her advice was to surround yourself with a good support system, that is what has helped her on her dark days.

These are just two of the 13 advocates so we’ll be waiting to see who else shared their own stories.
