We’re always looking for pegs for our own space and today’s inspiration is actually from a baby’s birthday party. Bea and Eric Dee’s baby girl Billie had her first birthday a few days ago and it was a family affair. Held at The Peninsula Manila, they had a room transformed into a vintage-looking bedroom complete with a faux fur carpet and tulle. Some of the furniture at the party would actually look good in some of your homes so we jotted down our favorites and looked for items that were very similar. Keep reading to see what we picked out.

Aside from the beds and couches, little tents were set up where the kids could play. Part of decorating that space were faux fur blankets. For your own bed or place in your home, get this faux fur throw—perfect for the chilly weather we’ve been having. It also comes in white, pink, and red. Available at SM Makati.
Fitting with the theme, the couches had a vintage feel. This upholstered loveseat has a similar vibe with its tufted back cushion and curved arm rests. To give this piece more dimension, it has nailhead accents along the arms and back. Available at Central Square.
Lamps were also set up all over the venue. They were white with lampshades and a curved stand. For something similar, pick up this one from West Elm. It has a hand-blown base with a built-in USB port, which acts as a space saver for your tables. Available at Estancia Mall.
Sitting on a couch and putting your feet up on an ottoman, is the most relaxing feeling in the world. The ones at Billie’s party were covered in a light pink fabric that had a velvety look to it. This Mingle Ottoman can act as a seat or footrest and comes in a variety of colors like teal and tangerine. Available at SM Megamall.
To give the room a whimsical touch, fairy lights were also put up. These string lights come on a six-foot copper wire. It is flexible so you can wrap it around your furniture or hang them from the ceiling. Available at Quirks, Power Plant Mall.
If you’re in the market for a new bed frame, get one with posts so you can turn it into a canopy. Once that’s set up, all you have to do is decorate it with dreamy fabric and lights. Available at Shangri-La at The Fort.

As a bonus item, cop yourself a comfy robe. Since it was a slumber party, this is also in theme. It has long sleeves, and (depending on how tall you are) is floor-length so you’ll be covered and cozy. Available online.
