The wait is almost over, Crazy Rich Asians is about to hit theaters really soon. If you saw the trailer a few months ago, many of you probably wondered where Kris Aquino was.
To get you pumped for the movie, Kris posted a teaser photo on Instagram. It was from a scene she had with Constance Wu during the grand wedding. In the caption she wrote, “Please watch for this PIVOTAL scene when the movie opens in Philippine cinemas on August 22, 2018.”
She also revealed that the yellow gown she is wearing in the photo is by Michael Cinco.
In the post she also asked for prayers. “Please pray [with] me that I get my medical clearance so I can proudly represent the [Philippines] during the red carpet walk in the Hollywood premiere.”
In a separate post she shared a video with a photo from the movie taping and quotes. Here she opened up about feeling pressured to be healthy enough to fly out for the movie’s premiere. “I need to fully rest [and] get healthy… Being 100% honest, I know myself enough that if I stay online, I’ll be pressuring myself about getting my medical clearance to fly to [the US} for the [Crazy Rich Asians] Hollywood premiere… so for a few days I need to sign off.”
We do hope you’ll be able to make it, Kris! And, we can’t wait to see the movie.
