These well-loved beauty brands apparently have pet grooming items too

When you have your own pet, it’s going to feel like they’re your own child. You buy them all sorts of accessories, toys, and beds to ensure that they’re comfortable and entertained. You also make sure that the food you give will keep them healthy. Basically, a portion of your savings goes to your furbaby/ies, but it’s all worth it.

Another thing that people invest on are grooming products, especially if they own dogs. Plus, with news that cult-fave brand Ouai is launching a pet shampoo, we couldn’t help but look up other beauty brands that actually sell pet stuff. So if you want to really spoil and pamper them, check out the products below.

Burt’s Bees Itch Soothing Shampoo with Honeysuckle

Burt’s Bees is known for their all-natural products from lip balms to hand creams. Their pet care products are no different. The Itch Soothing Shampoo is best for dogs with irritated and flaky skin underneath their fur. Just lather this on their body and the back of their ears (avoid their eyes!), and rinse. Available at Bow & Wow, Greenbelt 5.

Aesop Animal Wash

Aside from looking out for your skin, Aesop also has your pets’ backs. This product is made from natural oils and extracts that not only helps in washing fur, they will make your pets smell minty and citrusy too. This also has a gentle formula so it’s perfect for sensitive skin. Available on Uncrate.

Kiehl’s Spray-N-Play Cleansing Spritz

If you’re walking your dog and he/she gets dirty from rolling on the grass, this spritz will come in handy. You can use this to spot-clean stains on their fur wherever you are. The product is formulated with chamomile flower extract, leaving a floral deodorizing scent per use. Available on Amazon.

I Love Pet Head Nail Polish

This is under haircare brand Bed Head by TIGI. I Love Pet Head offers an array of products from shampoos to paw cream (check out Lazada) that come in colorful packaging. But if you want to glam up your pup, go grab their nail polish. This is safe for pets and humans to use, and it’s fast-drying too! Available at I Love My Pets, 3 Citiplace Building, Jose Abad Santos Street, San Juan.

John Paul Pet Tooth & Gum Wipes for Dogs and Cats

Made by the same people behind haircare brand Paul Mitchell, John Paul Pet caters to various needs of canines and felines. These wipes, for example, is an easy way for you to brush your pets’ teeth and gums. It also comes with a peppermint scent to get rid of their food breath. Available on Amazon.
