Bags and shoes made from plastic bottles? Yes, they exist

Aside from living a zero waste lifestyle, there are other ways you can help the environment in your daily life. Have you ever considered shopping for products made from recycled or sustainable materials? You might think that these things could be difficult to find, but they’re really not. With a little bit of research you can start wearing clothes made from organic fabric or shoes knitted from plastic bottles. Not only do these products lessen the amount of waste we’ve already produced but they are also easier to break down and be used again once it’s been put into good use. Parkland Lookout Duffle

Parkland has a variety of bags from backpacks to totes but it’s the material they’re made of that makes the bags interesting. “The exterior of all our products is made with 100 percent recycled water bottles. If you’re taking care of a baby, you might think that you’re creating a lot of waste with the number of diapers they go through. In case you didn’t know, H&M has a conscious line that promotes the use of recycled materials. The clothes made for these collections are made of organic textiles like cotton, linen, and silk. Rothy’s Flats

Make an environmental statement with the shoes you wear. With the power of 3-D knitting machines, Rothy’s was able to make different styles of footwear. They were able to makes that aren’t just made of recycled materials but are recyclable as well. It is made of earth-friendly, carbon-free rubber sole and recycled water bottles. Global sports brand Adidas has also taken the next step in fashion by supporting Parley for the Oceans. They take up cycled waste from beaches before it reaches the ocean and turn them into your new go-to workout pieces.
