The latest of installment in the Star Wars franchise is out in cinemas and it features a badass woman. Aside from young Han Solo, you’ll also meet Qi’ra played by Emilia Clarke. You’ll see her dressed in black, futuristic clothes complemented by a simple makeup look. Throughout the film, she had on minimal base makeup that wasn’t full-coverage. She also didn’t sport a dramatic eye look, just some eyeliner. The choice of lip color was also simple. While watching the movie, I also noticed how natural it looked and thought it would be perfect to wear every day. If you’re looking to switch up your daily routine, take some inspiration from Solo: A Star Wars Story’s Qi’ra.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

Before you start with your base makeup, apply a primer to make it last longer. It has a silky, weightless consistency so it won’t feel heavy underneath foundation. This will keep your makeup looking fresh all day since it repels water. It will also shield your skin from the sun since it has SPF 15 protection. Available on Sephora PH.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Makeup Foundation SPF 30

Throughout the movie, Emilia’s makeup doesn’t look thick or cakey so go for a light foundation. This Water Fresh foundation has a light to medium coverage and SPF 30 protection. “This fluid, long-wear makeup feels like you have nothing on.” It will also move comfortably with your skin, making it look natural. Available at Power Plant Mall.

COTY Airspun Loose Face Powder

The foundation has a dewy finish so it’s best to set some parts of your face to make it last longer. COTY Airspun powder has a silky-soft finish. It is finely-milled so you can build up the coverage depending on your preference. Available on BeautyMNL.

Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper

Keeping with the natural look, Emilia’s brows were just filled in and shaped slightly. Achieve the same effect with this dual product from Maybelline. Draw fine lines to fill in your brows and brush them out with a spoolie. You can also use the brow powder to soften harsh edges. Available at SM Makati.

blk Cosmetics All-day Lip & Cheek Water Tint in Cherry

On her lips, it looked like Emilia just had a light stain in a red shade. Apply a few dots of this water tint on your lips and spread with your fingers. A little goes a long way so start off with a small amount and build it up if necessary. Available at SM Makati.

 Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen

Lastly, Emilia also had on some eyeliner. There was no dramatic shape. It was just used to define her eyes. Take a liquid liner and draw a fine stroke on your upper lashline. Available on Calyxta.
