Liz Uy always seems like she’s in different places all the time. One minute she’s in Manila, the next she’s attending fashion week or, in this case, taking a vacation in the UK with her sister Laureen Uy. Not to mention that she’s also balancing all that with being a mom to baby Xavi.
With all that said, Liz recently shared her five-minute makeup routine that’s perfect for on-the-go ladies out there. This can be used for casual strolls in the park or at a fashion show. Plus, the products are travel-friendly too. Keep reading to see the products that Liz swears by.
Liz starts with concealing any blemishes or dark circles. This one from Hourglass promises a skin-like finish that’s both weightless and hydrating. Available on Sephora PH.
“Not a full coverage girl,” Liz wrote on her Instagram Stories. Too Cool For School’s Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion is more of a luminizer than a foundation. But if you’re into dewy looks, you can try this product out. Available on Cult Beauty.
Liz then sets her base with this Laura Mercier powder. It provides sheer coverage and adds a subtle glow to the skin. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.
Although Liz swears by Benefit’s Fine-One-One blush stick, it’s quite difficult to come by these days—it might even be discontinued. But for a similar effect, you can also try the Dandelion Dew Liquid Blush to give your cheeks a soft baby pink glow. Available at SM Megamall.
Shape your brows with this product. All you need is a couple swipes, and they’ll look filled out and groomed. Perfect for when you need to be out the door fast. Available at Watsons.
Before putting on lipstick, Liz applies a nourishing lip balm. Little Wonder from DAMDAM contains coconut oil which will help treat chapped lips, as well as cracked cuticles and dry patches on the skin. Available online.
Liz went for a nude lip and one of her lipsticks at her disposal is Hourglass’ Girl Lip Stylo. Dreamer is a peachy nude shade that will suit any skin color. The product is also hydrating and lightweight, perfect for daily wear. Available on Sephora PH.
Liz promised that a tiny dot of this cream eyeshadow is enough for the whole lid. It has a jelly-like texture and the shades—gold and light pink—have a shimmery finish. You can blend it with your finger or with a brush. Available on Nordstrom.
The final step: lashes. First, Liz curls them and then applies Maybelline’s Hypercurl mascara. This makes your eyes pop as it makes your lashes look fuller. Available at Watsons.
