The bare trend, consisting mostly of sheer pieces, was a common sight on runways and personalities. Now with the relatively colder climate, this trend is not the most practical anymore. But that doesn’t mean it’s dying down as nude sandals and heels are the new must-haves.

When we talk about nude footwear, they can come in beige or brown hues like Anna Wintour’s go-to Manolo Blahnik pair and Christian Louboutin’s inclusive collection. Then there are the transparent ones that often give the illusion that you’re not wearing anything—just look at Rihanna and Martine Cajucom’s clear shoes.

These shoes give off a dainty feel to the wearer and it’s a good complement to any look. Guess you can say it’s a new definition of “showing off skin” but not really. If you don’t want to get left out from this trend, shop our picks below.

Jimmy Choo Lang Patent-Leather Sandals

If you can’t find the exact pair that Anna Wintour likes, these nude heels from Jimmy Choo is a great alternative. The shoes’ strappy structure and glossy finish make it a suitable choice for both day and night. Available on Net-a-Porter.

Aquazzura Nude Wild Thing Heels

Aquazzura’s Wild Thing Heels is popular for its bold red color. For something more subdued, go for its nude shade. The fringe and pompom details also add a festive vibe to them. Available on Farfetch.

Aldo Beatritz Heels

This Aldo pair screams “classic” with its leather finish and pointed toe. Back then, you’d think this is simply an office wear staple. But now it’s on-trend and you can pair with your skinny jeans at any time of the day. Available at SM Megamall.

H&M Mules

Also a classic choice are these beige mules from H&M. These are comfortable to wear with its satin lining and insole. If you’re still not over the hype for slides, you can add this to your growing shoe collection. Just don’t wear them when there’s a heavy downpour outside. Available at Uptown Mall.

Zara Vinyl High Heel Sandals

WhoWhatWear previously noted how Zara’s naked heels would be on every fashion girl’s must-have list. These Vinyl High Heel Sandals, for example, have clear straps lined with orange-brown vinyl straps. The chunky heel is also transparent. Plus, this will perfectly match or complement morena skin tones. Available at Power Plant Mall.

Maryam Nassir Zadeh Martina Heels

Cop Martine Cajucom’s favorite clear low-heeled shoes from Maryam Nassir Zadeh. This particular pair comes in many shades like white, gold, blue, and light pink. Choose one that fits your personality or heck, get every color. Available online.
