Maxene Magalona may have had the best Valentine’s Day as boyfriend (now fiancé) Rob Mananquil proposed to her last night. Yay!
The couple is currently in Japan again, along with Rob’s parents. Hours before the proposal, Maxene and Rob had a regular V-Day date—visiting a museum, shopping at Dover Street Market, and having dinner at the restaurant from Kill Bill.
They ended the evening with a tour of Tokyo Dome City where an annual winter lights festival is being held. Rob popped the question inside the 80-meter-long “Luminous Tunnel,” which is considered the most crowded photo spot in the area.
Meanwhile, Maxene’s sister Saab Magalona and Rob’s mom Millet Mananquil also congratulated the couple on the engagement on social media. Saab even noted that she’d already known about the proposal beforehand and was keeping it a secret.
Looks like we have another celebrity wedding to look forward to. Congrats, Maxene and Rob!
