Long distance relationships can be tough—Prince Harry and Meghan Markle both know that to be true as he personally dropped her off at London’s Heathrow Airport last Sunday, Dec. 18. Just as we want them to spend the holidays together, it looks like they will be spending Christmas with their respective families in North America and in the UK.
E! News reported that Harry was with five police protection officers when he dropped her off. The airport staff then guided her to her gate and was the last one to board the plane to Toronto, Canada.
Prince Harry and Meghan have been quietly dating for a few months already and just a few days ago, we finally spotted a photo of them together as they watched Mark Haddon’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night. And if Harry wants to spend Christmas with Meghan, he’s going to have to marry her as only family spends the holiday at Sandringham for lunch and the Queen’s annual speech. And bringing someone who’s (not yet!) family means breaking tradition.
We wonder when she’ll be back in London to spend time with the Prince. Maybe for New Year’s?
