See Who Anne Curtis, Coleen Garcia, and Georgina Wilson Were for Halloween

Our local celebrities have played so many roles already. But when Halloween comes, they assume even spookier characters: Some playfully creepy and others just plain ghoulish.

Last weekend’s Halloween events paved the way for some of the best costumes yet. Leave it to Anne Curtis to make a Wednesday Addams costume interesting again and see how Georgina Wilson and the gang took a twisted turn as the “Bad Blood” squad.

Here are what these celebs wore during Hallows’ Eve.

Georgina Wilson, Martine Cajucom, Jess Wilson, and Isabelle Daza as the “Bad Blood” Squad

George and the girls went for maximum impact as the cast of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video. Complete with leather pieces, fake guns, bullets, and wigs, the only things missing were Band-Aids and fake bullet holes.

Ruffa Gutierrez as the Skull Queen

Always one to throw parties instead of simply attend them, Ruffa dressed up as the Skull Queen with guests CJ Javarata, who came as the Black Swan, and Phoemela Barranda, who was Sexy Alice in Wonderland. Ruffa’s Skull Queen is also known as Catrina and is derived from the Mexican version of Halloween, Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Her makeup is a glamorized version of the said character.

Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz as Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sparrow

The much-anticipated reunion of Popoy and Basha from One More Chance came a tad too early this Halloween. The hit film’s lead stars dressed up as the male and female versions of Johnny Depp’s Pirate of the Caribbean character Jack Sparrow at their movie set’s Halloween party.

Maxene Magalona and Robby Mananquil as John and Yoko

Couple dressing is at an all-time high this season. Maxene and Robby took inspiration from John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s iconic all-white look when they arrived at the National Theater in almost identical outfits. They even had placards that said “Give peace a chance” and “War is over!,” even though technically, John and Yoko held held those signs in bed.

Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford as Joker and Harley Quinn

The catch is that their roles were switched. While partying it up in Hong Kong, Coleen dressed up as the Joker while Billy was Harley Quinn. We guess it was a success in terms of making a typical Halloween costume look unusual!

Carla Humphries as Harley Quinn

Not having a partner-in-crime didn’t stop Carla from coming out as Harley Quinn as well. This time, she made the character’s signature red and black outfit more elaborate by wearing the creepy clown hat and smearing her eyeliner.

Tim Yap as Groot

If it’s Tim Yap, you know he’s going to go all-out. This year’s costume could be his most unwieldy yet as he dressed up as Groot. Yes, the self-sacrificing tree from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. It was as real as it could get: oversized claws as branches, added height for effect, and his entire body fully covered with tree trunk prosthetics.

Andi Eigenmann as Lorde

All the way in Japan, Andi looked to singer Lorde for inspiration. It’s a simple look, really. She wore black eyeliner, a choker, and a chain earcuff. But the overall effect still eerily resembled the New Zealand singer.

Anne Curtis as Wednesday Addams

Only someone like Anne can wear Wednesday Addams’ thick, black eyeliner, dark red lips, and her signature double braids, and still look really pretty. Even the intentionally heavy contouring (to create a gaunt effect) only did her favors.
