Netflix has released the first trailer for the third season of “The Crown,” the hit royal drama that first aired in 2016. The trailer shows the Queen and her family’s struggles to navigate life in Britain, from Cold War paranoia to the affluence of the 1960s-1970s.

The two-minute clip opens with a scene set in 1977, showing the 25th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s (played by Oscar-winner Olivia Colman) ascension to the throne. “On days like today, ask yourself: In the time I’ve been on the throne, what have I actually planned?” she says. It also seems like the Queen is having a sort of crisis as she laments the fact that the kingdom has fallen apart on her watch.

The trailer also hints at a rivalry between sisters Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. “Frustrations and resentments can build up from a life as a support act,” says Princess Margaret who is played by Helena Bonham-Carter.

Bonham-Carter isn’t the only new cast member. Tobias Menzies is also the new Prince Philip, while Charles Dance is Lord Mountbatten and Josh O’Connor is Prince Charles. The cast was changed in the third season so that the actors could “properly reflect the ages of the characters they’re playing.”

The upcoming season also shows Prince Charles falling in love with a young Camilla Parker Bowles, who will be played by Emerald Fennell.

“The Crown” Season 3 will be on Netflix on Nov. 17. Watch the trailer below:
