The full trailer of Crazy Rich Asians is finally out and it’s better than anyone could imagine. As of writing, there are over 15,000 tweets and counting dedicated to it. Let’s read some of them, shall we?
The movie is about Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), who meets her boyfriend, Nick Young’s (Henry Golding) wealthy family for the first time. She’ll also meet challenges as she’s often scrutinized by his mother, Eleanor Young (Michelle Yeoh) and the other elites in his circle.
That said, people were so excited to see the all-Asian cast in the film. People of different Asian ethnicities and races tweeted their gratitudes and how they wanted to show the trailer to their families.
I'm so excited for #CrazyRichAsians to come out! It is an entirely Asian cast where Asians are going to be given a complex and realistic background for once. Plus, Asian men are seen as attractive and desirable and Asian women are not overly sexualized.

Told my wife how excited I am to see #CrazyRichAsians.
Her response: "Oh, that's going to be the most Asians we've seen together in a theater since opening night of Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift!"

Many couldn’t handle their emotions while watching the trailer. Mostly because of the movie’s diversity.
