Laureen Uy and Bela Padilla on How to Work the Sandy Beaches

As more beach photos appear on social media, we noticed that there are various ways to take photos at the beach. It’s not the usual “sit on the sand” or stand in the water” type of vibe. People really take the time to think of poses that will confidently show off their swimsuits and/or their chosen assets.

If you need some ideas for your upcoming trip, we’ve gathered posts from celebrities and influencers who are often seen at the beach. Now it’s time to up your Instagram game!

Laureen Uy

Laureen Uy joked on Instagram that kneeling on the sand will now be her signature beach pose. The trick here is to keep your back straight while you smize to the camera.

Bella Padilla

We’re calling this pose the “Lazy Lounge” because Bela Padilla looks like she’s just chilling on the sand. But really, she’s sitting in a way to show off her bikini.

Kimi Juan

If you’re wearing something flowy, it’s best to use it to your advantage. Kimi Juan made her beach outfit the center of attention by letting the wind do its thing.

Lovi Poe

Lovi Poe is showing everyone how she works her angles in the middle of the beach. Copy this by turning your back to the camera, bend one of your legs and point your toe, and look over your shoulder.

Julia Barretto

Make your photos look more fun with props. Julia Barretto used a surfboard for a playful feel, and in another photo, she posed while drinking fresh buko juice.

Andi Eigenman

Techinically, this isn’t a pose, but action shots at the beach adds another dimension to your feed. Take some notes with Andi Eigenman’s many surfing photos.

Maxene Magalona

Speaking of action shots, here’s Maxene Magalona doing a jump shot. It’s the universal pose of the carefree and those who don’t have any stress to think about at that moment.

Maggie Wilson

Don’t know how to handle your tangled beach hair? Then use it to your advantage while taking a photo. Maggie Wilson lets the wind blow her hair or she parts it to the side during any pose for that sultry look.
