Give In to Valentine’s Day by Spending It This Way

In case it slipped your mind, Valentine’s Day is next week and you still have some time to plan your dates. Yes, it is a Hallmark holiday and you might find it cheesy to celebrate but there’s no harm in preparing fun activities. Whether you’ll be going out with your significant other or spending the day alone, we wanted to give you some ideas. If you want to do something that isn’t the usual fancy dinner and movie date, here are places you can check out for food, fun, and relaxation.

For the low-key couples

An alternative to a fancy dinner is having an intimate tea time with your significant other. Until Feb. 18, TWG will have a Valentine’s Day set menu that consists of a Tomato Raspberry & Beet salad, Halibut Risotto, Seared Ox Tongue, and Dulce de Leche Love Me Tea Cake. Visit any of their branches to make a reservation.

For the big and little kids

If you’re spending the day with your family, make a stop at The Dessert Museum. Indulge in sweet treats and let your kids run around the different themed rooms. This is also a great spot to get some family photos.

For the gal pals

Gather all your girl friends and head out for some drinks. Finestra Aperitivo at Solaire has a new cocktail menu that you might enjoy. Order from their cocktails like a Cold Brew Negroni which is made of cold brew coffee, Mancino Vermouth Rosso, and Campari bitter. They also have Analcolico, a fruity mix of passion fruit, yuzu, raspberry puree, hibiscus, and soda water.

For the #1 in your life

Treat the number one love in your life, yourself to a spa day. Take this time to take a break from all the stress in your life. Book a luxury massage depending on you body’s needs. You can also have other treatments done like a facial and manicure.
