Andrea Brillantes Makeup Tricks Aren’t Just For Teens

Aside from being a young actress, Andrea Brillantes is becoming a budding beauty guru. At just 14 years old, she already has over two million followers on Instagram, and she also posts tutorials and vlogs on YouTube. But don’t let her age fool you because her looks can be achieved by any beauty junkie.

That said, we looked at Andrea’s go-to looks and figured out her signature tricks. We suggested products for you to achieve them as well.

#1 Prominent brows

The first thing I always notice with Andrea are her arched and naturally thick eyebrows. They’re already dark so there’s no need for too much product to fill them out. If you have similar brows, the best way is to use a clear brow gel to smooth out the hairs and give it more definition.

Shop: Palladio Clear Brow Gel. Available at Beauty Bar.

#2 Bold and dark pout

Andrea is not afraid to wear bold lipsticks on a daily basis. One day you’ll see her rocking a bright red lipstick, the next, it’s a deep purple shade. She also goes for matte formulas for longer wear.

Shop: ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Guess. Available online.

#3 Go for shimmer

Aside from matte lips, metallic shades are also her go-to. This adds a shimmery element to any neutral look. Since the holidays are coming up, I think it’s time for you to bust out the metallic lipsticks too.

Shop: Lipland Metallic Liquid Lipstick in Immortal. Available at Sephora PH.

#4 Subtle wing

Beauty junkies love doing winged liners, but Andrea opts for a more subtle wing and still just as sharp. Paired with false lashes and mascara, and she’s got the perfect eye look for any occasion. This trick also worked when she dressed up as Ariana Grande during the Dangerous Woman Tour show in Manila. The trick her is to use a felt tip liner for a precise wing.

Shop: K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

#5 Blush pop

Andrea occasionally follows the bright blush trend with pink and orange-toned shades. This gives her a pop of color even when she’s wearing minimal makeup.

Shop: Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Fantastic Plastic Pink. Available at Landmark, Makati.

#6 Changing eye colors

To top of her eye look, Andrea sometimes wears blue or light gray contacts. This adds more brightness to the eyes and also gives you a unique look. You can even change it up depending on your mood.

Shop: Geolica Nudy Grey CH-625. Available at Magno Optical, TriNoma Mall.

#7 Glitzy nail art

Andrea often gets her nails done by Ellen Adarna’s favorite nail artist Mimi Reyes. Her latest nail art is Halloween-inspired with stones, a spider drawing, and an eyeball. You can either get yours at your nearest nail salon or do it yourself. You can also get pre-designed glue-on nails if you’re still a beginner.

Shop: L’Oreal Paris Instant Couture Nail Art: Disco Diamond. Available on Beauty MNL.
