Your Guide to Fenty Beauty Dupes that Won’t Break the Bank

You know Rihanna wasn’t playing when she worked on Fenty Beauty. After a year of teasing, she came out with a total of 91 products, 40 of those are foundation shades. (I repeat, FORTY!)

By the time you’re reading this, you probably scoured the Sephora page to cop Fenty Beauty’s products already. (Raise your hand if you broke the refresh button.) At the same time, you’re also here because either it got sold out or your bank account can’t afford it just yet. So we’re giving a list of Fenty Beauty dupes you can buy for now.

Match Stix: NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick

The Match Stix are described as contour and highlight sticks that come in different colors like brown, rose gold, and red. Some have a subtle sheen to them, while others contain full-on shimmer. A good alternative for this is the NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick, which also comes in a wide range of colors for your sculpting, highlighting, and blush needs. They have a creamy formula too, making it easy to blend without compromising the glow. Available at SM Makati.

Invisimatte Blotting Powder: BECCA Blotting Powder Perfector

Whether you have oily skin or just need a matte setting powder, this blotting powder (along with blotting papers) has got you. For a similar effect, go for BECCA’s Blotting Powder Perfector which controls shine and mattifies your makeup without looking cakey. The microfine powder also reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines. Available on Sephora PH.

KillaWatt: MAC Mineralized SkinFinish in Cheeky Bronze

I’m not going to lie, I want every KillaWatt shade; I’m obsessed with Trophy Wife right now. I blame Fenty Beauty’s campaign ad. What’s noticeable about these highlighters is how adaptable they are to various skin tones. MAC’s Mineralized SkinFinish in Cheeky Bronze is just the right shade for all skin tones as it has a light coral shade with a gold sheen. You’ll be shining like a diamond with one swipe of either product. Available at SM Megamall.

Gloss Bomb: Girlactik Star Gloss in Just Nude

Rihanna made just one lip product, and it’s tagged as a “universal lip illuminator.” Based on initial swatches, it has a red-brown color with silver reflects. Girlactik’s Star Gloss in Just Nude is a versatile color and guarantees to give your lips shine as well. Available on Calyxta.

Pro Filt’r Foundation: Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation

We know that finding dupes for all 40 foundation shades is going to take us all day. What we can do is suggest a foundation that’s also long-wearing and has a soft matte finish. The Dream Velvet Soft Matte Foundation from Maybelline fits the bill as it gives you a full-coverage hydrated look. It also comes in a wide shade range for fair, medium, and dark skin tones. Available at Watsons branches.
