Every time the rainy weather starts, I find myself wanting to stay in bed all day. When it’s a little gloomy outside, I wrap myself in a blanket and find the cool side of my pillow, I’m getting sleepy just thinking about it. Bed weather isn’t ideal for when you have to get up and be productive at work but you can take advantage of the coziness on weekends. There are several bed items you can add to make it even more comfortable like a wool throw or extra pillows.
If you’re going to spend your weekend in bed, try adding these beddings for your comfort and relaxation.

Unlike a regular blanket, a comforter is sure to keep you nice and toasty in bed especially when it’s raining outside. This one from Pottery Barn has a design inspired by block printing and comes in blue, a very calming color. It also has a 200-thread count and is made of 100 percent cotton.
Shop: Available at Glorietta 3.
The softness of your pillows can either make or break your sleep. These platinum down pillows are filled with a blend of soft duck down and feathers. The feather core keeps the pillow plump while the down adds softness to the outer layer. They are also covered in 230-thread count cotton cambric for that extra touch of comfort and breathability.
Shop: Available at SM Makati.
When it comes to bed sheets, I look for ones that aren’t scratchy and too thin. For a comfy bed, a cotton sheet is best. You can also opt to get a fitted one so that it doesn’t come undone when you’re moving around in bed.

For an extra layer of warmth, add a throw on your bed. This one is made of 100 percent alpaca wool and comes in a warm mustard color. You can throw this over yourself under your comforter or wrap yourself in it when you’re walking around your house, no shame.
Shop: Available at Greenbelt 5.
If you’re looking for a mattress that is both supportive and soft, try out the Tempur Cloud 19. Unlike other Tempur mattresses, the Cloud collection is the sweet spot between firmness and comfort. It follows the shape of your body, supporting your most comfortable position so you don’t toss and turn in your sleep.
Shop: Available online.
I like to be surrounded by pillows when I sleep so aside from the pillow I lay my head on and the one I hug, I have several ones around me. These pillows from Ikea have less filling which makes them extra soft, almost cloud-like. And who doesn’t want to feel like they’re sleeping on clouds?
Shop: Available on Beauty MNL
